Frampton Construction vice president and 2008 Clemson graduate Keaton Green has been honored with the 2024 CSM Distinguished Alumnus Award. Given by Clemson University's Nieri Department of Construction, Development, and Planning, the award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated significant achievement in the construction industry and shown consistent support for Clemson’s CSM department. To be considered, recipients must have graduated at least a decade prior to receiving the accolade.

Green's journey in the construction industry began after his graduation from Clemson University, where he developed a solid foundational knowledge of construction management. He gained valuable experience early in his career with high-profile projects and international exposure. Green swiftly ascended from project manager to director and subsequently Vice President of Operations for Frampton Construction in 2017.

Green has been a driving force behind Frampton's operational excellence during his time with the company. His commitment to professional development is evident in his co-creation of the Frampton “EMPOWERS” leadership development program in 2022. The program aims to advance Frampton team members' personal and professional growth, empowering them to become leaders in all facets of life.

Chad Frampton, president & CEO of Frampton Construction, remarked, “Keaton’s leadership, integrity, and passion for the construction industry have propelled him to success and inspired countless others along the way. His devotion to Clemson is equally impressive.”

Green has been recognized for his professional accomplishments and commitment to the community and industry by publications like ENR Southeast and the Charleston Business Journal. His philanthropic involvement has also been significant over the years, most notably with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and the First Tee program.

Beyond his professional achievements, Green has remained deeply engaged with his alma mater, actively supporting the CSM department's initiatives and fostering the development of future industry leaders. His involvement in mentorship programs, guest lectures, and alumni networking events underscores his dedication to giving back to the Clemson community and nurturing the next generation of construction professionals.
