Executive Vice President
As executive vice president and chief operating officer, Tom Black manages daily operations of the business from the company's Charleston office. He also provides senior level oversight and strategy for the company’s administration, finance and project management.
Tom has more than 30 years of construction and management experience as a construction services executive. Throughout his career, his experience has bridged all roles and responsibilities of a commercial general contractor, including leadership positions in preconstruction and project management.
If you weren't in construction, what job would you want to have?
High school baseball coach
As vice president, Keaton Green is responsible for the company’s operational procedures, training and systems. Additionally, he manages a range of client relationships and project deliverables.
With more than fifteen years of management experience, Keaton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction science and management from Clemson University and is a LEED certified accredited professional for building construction and design.

President and CEO
As president and CEO of Frampton Construction, Chad Frampton leads the firm in overall direction and company development. He also works to maintain positive, lasting client relationships and heads the companys work acquisition endeavors.
Chad began working for his father, Charles Frampton, founder of Frampton & Associates, in 2002. In 2010, he assumed an executive leadership role and has since led the company to a record of significant and consistent growth. Chad takes great honor in the opportunity to lead Frampton Construction as a second-generation construction firm.
Whos your favorite athlete to watch?
Tiger Woods (2019 Masters, enough said!)
Michaele Frampton has been with the Frampton Construction team since 2007, filling a variety of roles as the company has evolved. She currently oversees human resources, employee benefits, and community outreach. Michaele graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration.
What has been your favorite vacation?
I love a staycation, but my favorite trip was to Pebble Beach and Carmel, California.
As vice president, Joey Smith leads the daily operations of the company’s Charlotte office with a focus on client relationships and project delivery. Joey has more than 16 years of construction experience in a range of markets, possessing a strong background in industrial design-build work.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Joey serves as an executive board member for UNC-Charlotte’s School of Construction Management and Engineering Technologies.

Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer, Craig Calhoun leads the strategic financial direction of the company. His financial leadership spans many sectors of the company, including accounting, risk management, human resources, project management, and investments.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than ten years of construction finance experience, Craig holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Wofford College and a master's degree in accountancy from Clemson University. He currently serves as the President of the South Carolina Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Director of Preconstruction
As director of preconstruction, Phillip Marino is responsible for overseeing the preconstruction process for all prospective and existing projects. In his role, he interfaces with the owner, designer, trade partners, and suppliers to provide accurate, organized and complete cost data. Phillip organizes and manages hard bids and conceptual estimates, analyzing trade partner bids for accuracy and comprehensiveness across multiple disciplines.
Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Citadel.
What would your perfect last meal be?
Ribs, a salad from California Dreaming, corn on the cob, and Kaminsky's Mountain of Chocolate Cake for dessert.
Senior Marketing Manager
As senior marketing manager at Frampton Construction, Katherine Panke leads the company's marketing efforts with a focus on public relations, business development, and company branding. Katherine attended James Madison University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications studies. She is a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society, the oldest academic honor society in the United States.
What's your favorite Christmas movie?
Definitely The Grinch (the one with Jim Carrey). I watch it every year!
Culture & Community Manager
Toni Moore is the culture and community manager at Frampton Construction. She works to enhance Frampton’s community relationships, personnel development, and overall company culture in the Charleston and Charlotte offices by developing relationships with employees, partners, and the community. Toni holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education: Mental and Intellectual Disabilities from the College of Charleston and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel.
What is your hidden talent?
When I played soccer at CofC, we had informal speed walking competitions on our recovery days. I was the undefeated speed walking champion during my time on the team. I also participated in a few speed walking races while teaching at ARHS and no one beat me then either. Maybe I should compete for real!!
