SEFL Mt. Crawford
This new 45-door service center is located in Mt. Crawford, Virginia, just four miles south of Harrisonburg, VA. The project scope included the construction of a 4,200 square-foot office, 13,600 square-feet of open dock, and 90 site trailer parking spaces.
Sitework preparation included blasting approximately 11,500 cubic yards of trench and mass rock excavation. A two-acre detention pond and swale manage the storm drainage runoff. The site truck asphalt pad consists of 17,000 square yards of heavy duty asphalt with 5,000 square yards of heavy duty concrete dock apron at the loading docks. The pre-engineered metal building structure provides structural support, while the brick veneer embellishes the building envelope at the front office. The truck dock is open to accommodate truck loading and unloading.
