To stay ahead of the competition, SEFL made a company commitment to enhance their trucking terminals throughout the Southeast, tapping Frampton and Robert Johnson Architects to complete work on four expansion and renovation projects.
Fredericksburg, VA
In July 2018, Frampton completed an expansion and renovation to a 32,991-square-foot service center on 14.5 acres in Fredericksburg, VA. The project more than doubled the size of the existing facility and involved a 40-door dock expansion, a 4,268-square foot warehouse addition, and a complete remodel of the existing 4,203-square foot office. Frampton also re-painted the entire facility, provided new landscaping, and resurfaced the front employee parking lot. The service center now houses a total of 77 dock doors, positioning it to better serve the company’s fleet along Virginia’s busy Interstate 95 corridor.
Florence, SC
In October 2017, Frampton completed an expansion and renovation that included a 24-door dock expansion, 750-square-foot conference room addition, a 38-space employee parking expansion, and a 6-acre trailer parking expansion.
Columbia, SC
In October 2016, Frampton teamed up with SEFL and RJA Architecture to provide a loading dock addition, which consisted of adding approximately 8,280 square feet of covered dock space, providing an additional 28 freight dock doors.
Fayetteville, NC
In August 2015, Frampton provided an addition to the loading dock at SEFL’s Fayetteville terminal and fully renovated the office area. The loading dock addition consisted of adding approximately 6,000 square feet of covered dock space, providing an additional 24 freight dock doors. The approximately 2,000-square-foot office area was demolished and rebuilt within a 90-day period.
