A&R Logistics Export Facility

Moncks Corner, SC 615,000 sq ft SQ FT

Frampton Construction was selected to build a new 615,000-square-foot export facility for A&R Logistics, Inc., one of North America’s leading providers of supply chain services for the chemical industry.

Located in West Branch Commerce Park, the facility supports the packaging and export of plastic resin through four high-speed, state-of-the-art packaging lines. CSX provides rail service to the site, strategically located for its direct, reliable, and efficient access to the Port of Charleston. The 615,000 square-foot building consists of warehousing and packaging space, as well as over 4,500 square feet of office. The facility has a 36’ clear height and was constructed of tilt-up concrete wall panels with a structural steel frame and TPO roof. Rail tracks run along the building’s south side to facilitate the offloading of product from train cars, while the north side of the building features 72 dock doors where product is then loaded onto trucks for export.

To accommodate the facility’s rail requirements, Frampton Construction completed the installation of one rail spur and 24,000 feet of private rail. A 3,920 linear foot spine road was also built to connect the new facility to Gaillard Road.
