Frampton has finished work on a 63-door service center for Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL) in Columbia, South Carolina. Built to a new design standard, the Columbia service center serves as a prototype for all future ODFL service center builds.
Charleston, S.C. -- Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, and construction services, has started work on a new, 907,444-square-foot speculative industrial development in Greenville, South Carolina. The project, comprised of two Class-A industrial facilities, is being developed by The Keith Corporation, a full-service developer and owner of industrial, warehouse, and other commercial properties.
Building one will measure 640,667-square-feet with a cross-dock layout and a 36-foot clear height. Building two will measure 266,777-square-feet with a rear-loading layout and a 32-foot clear height. Constructed of concrete tilt walls and structural steel framing, the facilities will be equipped with ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response) sprinklers, energy-efficient LED lighting, and 60mil TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) membrane roofs.

The project’s location, adjacent to US-25 and the Donaldson Center Airport (GYH), is within four miles of I-85 and presents direct access to critical Southeastern metropolitan areas such as Greenville, Spartanburg, Charlotte, and Atlanta.

Merriman-Schmitt Architects is providing design services, and Thomas + Hutton will serve as civil engineer. Work on the site is in progress and is scheduled to conclude in January 2023.
