Chad Frampton, President and CEO

As president and CEO of Frampton Construction, Chad Frampton leads the firm in overall planning and company direction. He also works to maintain positive client relationships and work acquisition.  Frampton began working for his father, Charles Frampton, who started Frampton & Associates in 1993. The younger Frampton joined the management team in 2007. Prior to that, he was on the operations side of the business as assistant project manager and was later promoted to project manager.

In 2010, he assumed an executive leadership role and led the company to four consecutive record years in growth and sales. With the construction market evolving in 2009 and 2010, Frampton saw the advantage to increasing the diversity of projects and decided to change the company’s sales strategy. That strategy, which focused on clients and companies that can produce multiple long term opportunities, resulted in a consistent increase in company sales.

Frampton takes great honor in the opportunity to lead Frampton Construction as a second generation construction firm. He earned a degree in business administration from Newberry College, in Newberry, South Carolina. A native of Charleston, Frampton resides in Mount Pleasant.

Tom Black, Executive Vice President

As executive vice president and chief operating officer of the company in the Charleston, S.C., office, Tom Black manages daily operations of the business. As chief operating officer, he also leads the company’s administration, accounting and project management.  In addition, Black is responsible for business development across a broad range of industries and sectors.

Prior to joining the Frampton team, Black served as the vice president and general manager for Roy Anderson Corporation, in Jackson, Mississippi. There, his main responsibilities included implementing annual business plans and policies to achieve overall corporate objectives.

He brings over 29 years of construction and management experience as a construction services executive. Throughout his career, his experience has bridged all roles and responsibilities of a commercial general contractor, including leadership positions in preconstruction and project management. Black holds a B.S. degree from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.  A native of Nashville, Tenn., Black resides on James Island.

Keaton J. Green, Director

As director of Frampton Construction, Keaton J. Green first started with the company in 2002.  In 2004, Green turned his time and efforts to obtaining his college degree and furthering his construction training.  He then returned to the company in 2013 to manage construction projects as a project manager and later that year was promoted to director.

Green is responsible for the growth of the Charlotte division and its project management operations.  He manages company development, including initiatives, and handles many of the company's standard processes and procedures. In addition, Green leads internal training sessions to ensure that team members have the resources readily available to consistently deliver on client projects.

Green, who holds a B.S. in construction science and management from Clemson University, formerly served as founder and CEO of Green Construction Consulting, LLC, in Charlotte, N.C. Prior to that, he served as senior project engineer for Holder Construction Company, an ENR top 50 contractor. Green is a LEED certified accredited professional for building construction and design. A native of Charleston, S.C., he currently resides in Charlotte.

As office manager of the Charleston, S.C. office, Michaele Frampton has been with the Frampton Construction team since September 2007. Frampton’s main responsibilities include managing account receivables and payables, general administrative tasks and human resources.

She graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in public administration and has been working for the firm since then.   Frampton brings skills in financial accounting, human resources, marketing, branding and day-to-day operations of the company.  She also holds the Frampton Construction Unlimited General Contracting license and is a LEED Green Associate.  A native of Charleston, S.C., Frampton currently resides in Mt. Pleasant.
