Old Dominion Freight Lines - McDonough, GA

Frampton mobilized in May 2019 to build a new, 75-door service center for Old Dominion Freight Line in McDonough, Ga.

Situated on 18 acres, the project site is located just off I-75, approximately 30 miles south of Atlanta. The new facility will include 34,500-square feet of dock space to accommodate up to 75 trucks and a 5,400-square foot office with a driver check-in area, conference/training room, and staff offices. The building envelope will be formed by concrete panels using the tilt-up construction method.

Keaton Green, director at Frampton Construction commented, “We’re excited to get started on our first new build project with Old Dominion Freight Line. We’ve established a strong working relationship with the team there, and we’re committed to continuing to deliver top quality results as our scope of work with them grows.”

David Mollenkopf Architect completed the design and Hoyt + Berenyi is the civil engineering firm on the project. Construction on the facility is expected to be complete in December of 2019. This is Frampton’s fourth project with Old Dominion Freight Line.

What Customers are saying

Frampton was originally interviewed for our Corporate Office in Columbia and although not selected, the Frampton team not only impressed me but also the owners of the company so much so that we decided after that interview that Frampton should be included on our very short list of contractors to handle our projects throughout our service area in the Sunbelt.  Like all of our contractors we started out with a couple small renovations projects and progressed to much larger turnkey/design build service centers. Frampton has been a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail and continuous improvement for quality and cost control to the owner is very much appreciated. The Southeastern team looks forward to many more successful projects with the Frampton team.
